No other candy satisfies me like Resse’s peanut butter cups. During a visit to my dad’s for New Years’, I stumbled across these delightful treats at a 7-Eleven by my hotel, and I had to pick some up. Resse’s has combined all of the goodness of Easter candy flavors. Milk chocolate, marshmallow, and delicious Reese’s peanut butter, all into one fantastic cup. Pick up some Reese’s mallow-top peanut butter cups and they won’t waste your time.
I will admit that I was suspicious that I would like these. Typically, I’m not too fond of marshmallow anything. However, Reese’s mallow-top peanut butter cups proved to be the special something I was hoping they would be. I purchased the standard two-cup package, which costs me 180 calories. And let me tell you, they are worth every bit of the 180 calories.
Over the years, Reeses’ candy has been tweaked so they can continue to stay relevant. They’ve used dark chocolate, white creme, and even produced miniature peanut butter cups and Reese’s Thins for people who want something a little lighter. This new flavor blends that same classic combo of chocolate and peanut butter with something a little more unexpected: marshmallow-flavored creme.
The peanut butter cups feature the same creamy peanut butter filling and milk chocolate shell we know and love, but instead of the typical chocolate top layer, there lies a marshmallow-flavored white creme instead. I am very happy to recommend Reese’s Mallow-Top Peanut Butter Cups because they aren’t something that wastes your time. They are worth the calories but were a little pricey at $1.29 for the standard 2 cup package.
