I’ve always wanted an immersion blender. Consequently, I’ve always been a fan of Cuisinart. So it wasn’t a surprise I chose the Cuisinart Smart Stick variable speed hand blender. Immersion blenders are compact and take up very little space. Additionally, they are versatile, fast, and easy to clean. Even more, they are pretty inexpensive.
Why You Need an Immersion Blender
An immersion blender is a handheld kitchen appliance used for various tasks, including blending, pureeing, and emulsifying. An immersion blender is different from a traditional countertop blender because it can be immersed directly into whatever food you’re preparing, making it ideal for tasks like blending soups and sauces. Plus, immersion blenders are typically more compact and easier to store than countertop blenders.
Hand blenders come in various sizes and features, depending on what you will be using them for. You can use a hand blender to puree fruits and vegetables and mix them into dishes for serving. Alternatively, you can use it to puree sauces and soups. I’m a big soup maker, especially during the colder months, so I purchased the Cuisinart Smart Stick variable-speed hand blender.
The Cuisinart Smart Stick has 300 watts of pure power, delivering maximum power with minimal noise. My hand blender has a variable speed slide control, which helps make sure I don’t puree my potato soup into mashed potatoes.
Another great and useful feature of my Cuisinart Smart Stick hand blender is the chopper/grinder attachment. This attachment has been super useful for dicing onions, nuts, vegetables, etc.
I haven’t had much need or luck using the chef’s whisk attachment. However, the Cuisinart Smart Stick variable speed hand blender includes the whisk. You would use this attachment to perfect whipped dessert toppings and dressings.
Finally, the Cuisinart Smart Stick variable speed hand blender includes a large deluxe mixing/measuring cup with three cups. The cup could be suitable for smoothies or salad dressings.
Should you buy the Cuisinart Immersion Blender?
Cuisinart has not disappointed me, and I own several of their small kitchen appliances. If you are looking for an immersion hand blender, I recommend the Cuisinart Smart Stick variable-speed hand blender because it won’t waste your time.
