Thanksgiving is upon us, meaning you must prepare your home for hosting friends and family. If you’re like me, you want everything to be just perfect for your guests. But between work, school, and all the other things on our plate, who has time to deep clean the house from top to bottom? Not to worry, I’ve got you covered. With this three-day plan, your home will be guest-ready in no time!

Day One: Supplies

The first thing you’ll want to do to prepare your home for Thanksgiving is taking stock of your supplies. This includes things like dishes, silverware, glasses, and serving platters. If you’re short on any of these items, now is the time to run to the store and pick up what you need. You’ll also want to ensure you have enough chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. Nothing is worse than having to squeeze around the table!

Next, it’s time to start thinking about food. Take a look at your favorite recipes and make a list of ingredients. Then head to the grocery store and pick up everything you need. Don’t forget the dessert!

Finally, prepare your home for Thanksgiving by thinking about decor. Do you have all the fall decorations you need? If not, take a trip to the pumpkin patch or your local craft store to pick up some festive items. Then, dust all surfaces – blinds, shelves, knick-knacks, etc. Finally, straighten up any clutter that might have accumulated over time. Day Five: Focus on Details

Finally, on the day before your guests arrive, you’ll want to focus on the little details that will make their stay more comfortable.
